My only issue with this game being remastered is that that's all this is: a remaster. First being its pretty far away at this point, and secondly when SEGA revealed Forces it actually looked like a cool sequal to Generations but man was that game a huge disappointment/failure as a Sonic game. The inclusion of a teaser for the 2022 Sonic game doesn't mean much for 2 reasons. The video they put out to promote the presentation recently had me a little excited because it mainly featured Mania and Generations, the only two good 2D and 3D Sonic games to come out for a long time (and Generations released in 2011 lol). I played it and hoped for the best since it got a lot of praise but it isn't anything crazy. Each section has like 2 "real" levels and then the levels after that are just short challenges that don't take very long at all. I played it a few months back on Wii emulation in HD and the level design isn't anything to praise honestly. I didn't want to get my hopes up with the presentation because SEGA has really dropped the ball lately with Sonic, but yeah nothing of interest in that presentation.Ĭolors is okay, I guess.
